To our loyal patrons, regular guests, and those who have supported our carry-out services in the last several days, it is with a very heavy heart that we announce our temporary closure. The spread of the COVID-19/Novel Coronavirus has taken a toll on everyone in our industry and beyond. Our decision to close was not an easy one as our entire staff thrives on the hospitality that we enjoy offering to all of you. Like you, we are living this experience day-to-day and unable to make any firm plans for a re-opening date. We will work with all of our staff to be sure they are supported during this time so that we can return with our full “restaurant family” to serve all of you as soon as feasibly possible. Please be safe, stay home, and stay healthy.

Taste of the Valley

ONE OF SOUTHERN YORK COUNTY’S PREMIER FUNDRAISING EVENTS
All proceeds benefit the Arthur Hufnagel Public Library of Glen Rock.
Friday, October 25th from 6-11pm
at the Historic Glen Rock Mill Inn
Tickets $45 each or $80 per couple.
Festivities will begin at 6pm at the Library with complimentary glass of champagne. After completing a scavenger hunt, guests will walk/drive to the Glen Rock Mill Inn and will receive two drink tickets valid for draft beer, wine or non-alcoholic beverages, butlered hors d’oeuvres, food stations, and Jazz band playing in the Hearthside Lounge. Cash bar service is available until last call at 11pm. Silent Auction Baskets available for highest bidder!
Attendees MUST pre-purchase tickets through the library (717.235.1127) or through the Glen Rock Mill Inn (717.235.5918) – stop by or call for tickets!
3 butlered hors d’ oeuvres will be passed from 7–9 pm:
–Sweet and Spicy Thai Shrimp
–Honey and Feta Phyllo Triangles
–Beef Tenderloin Crostini with blue cheese mousse and caramelized onions
Food stations will be available 7–9 pm
Mixed greens with warm marinated and grilled garden vegetables and charred sweet tomatoes with balsamic glaze, mozzarella bocconcini, house made croutons, assorted house made dressings
Chef Staffed Stir Fry Station:
Guests choice of shrimp, pork or chicken flashed in a wok with Asian style veggies and assorted sauces, fried rice and white rice for accompaniments
Chef Staffed Carving-Slider Station:
Shaved Prime Rib of beef and Carved turkey, potato slider rolls, assorted sauces and toppings for slider sandwiches
Dessert Station: Placed at 8:30 pm
Assorted dessert miniatures, cookies and bars
Coffee Station: Placed at 8:30 pm
Freshly brewed coffee, cream and sugar available
