Christmas in Glen Rock

The Glen Rock Carol Singers need no introduction.

Every Christmas Eve, they begin their evening at the Zion Lutheran Church precisely at 11 PM.  The 50 carolers and their entourage bring Christmas song and cheer to the residents and visitors of Glen Rock all through the night.
They have for 163 years now dating back to 1848.

Perhaps you’ll meet the Caroler's Peanut Man.  He preceeds the Carolers handing out peanuts (30 pounds each evening) and announcing their eminent arrival.  Follow the carolers through the streets all through the night.

At about 7 AM, the trek ends with the singing of the “Doxology” at the Community Christmas tree.  The tree is just outside the Inn’s front door.

Even if you can’t stay through the evening, warm up before or after the experience by stopping at the Inn for a Mill Hot Toddy or a Mill Hot Chocolate.
